What Are CEREC® Full-Ceramic Restorations?

CEREC® is a CAD/CAM digital dental technology that combines digital intraoral scanning, computer-aided design, and digital manufacturing to create customized dental restorations based on your teeth and bite.

Unlike traditional dental restorations that may require physical impressions, digital intraoral scanning captures detailed 3D images of your teeth and oral structures. Primescan is a digital intraoral scanning system that converts these images into a digital model to assist with treatment planning and restoration design.

Depending on your tooth condition and the type of restoration required, some CEREC® crowns and other dental restorations can be completed in one visit (One-Visit), helping reduce the number of dental appointments required.
